Turnberry lighthouse and the Ayrshire coast
Our Reserve journeys are entirely bespoke. This sample shows what is possible when distance, budget and time are not the constraint: Scotland's most storied links, from Ayrshire to Sutherland, joined by private travel and some of the country's finest places to stay.
Expect exclusive-use houses, private dining, experiences arranged around your interests, and a level of personal attention that lets you forget the logistics entirely.

Courses we would suggest for this journey. Final choices depend on your preferences, each club’s visitor policies and availability when we request tee times.
St Andrews, St Andrews & Fife
The links that shaped the game: double greens, hidden bunkers and the walk home over the Swilcan Bridge.
Gullane, Edinburgh & East Lothian
Home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers. Visitor days are limited and set by the club.
North Berwick, Edinburgh & East Lothian
Stone walls, the sea at your shoulder and the original Redan: perhaps the most joyful round in Scotland.
Troon, Ayrshire & The West Coast
Open Championship links with the Postage Stamp, one of the shortest and most feared holes in championship golf.
Turnberry, Ayrshire & The West Coast
Dramatic coastal golf beneath the lighthouse, looking out to Ailsa Craig and Arran.
Dornoch, Highlands & Royal Dornoch
Golf has been recorded at Dornoch since the early 1600s. Plateau greens, with gorse ablaze in late spring.
Kingsbarns, St Andrews & Fife
Opened in 2000 on farmland shaped into convincing linksland, with the sea in view from every hole.
Auchterarder, Perthshire, St Andrews & Fife
James Braid's moorland classic in the Perthshire hills, a lovely counterpoint to the links.
The country's most celebrated five-star addresses, with suites chosen and requested room by room.
A private castle or country house for your party alone, with staff, chef and grounds.
Remote lodges with river, hill and loch on the doorstep — the Highlands at their most private.
A sample schedule to show the rhythm of the trip. Your own itinerary will be shaped around your group, and no tee times or accommodation are guaranteed until confirmed.
Edinburgh
A private arrival and an afternoon at leisure in a suite overlooking the castle, then a private dining room for your first dinner.
East Lothian
A round at Muirfield, on a day the Honourable Company welcomes visitors, or North Berwick's West Links. Lunch in the clubhouse.
Ayrshire
West to the Firth of Clyde for two days of Open Championship links at Royal Troon and Turnberry, with Culzean Castle for partners.
Perthshire
Across to Perthshire and the King's Course at Gleneagles, with an afternoon of falconry, fishing or the spa.
Fife
Two days in the home of golf: Kingsbarns, and the Old Course subject to allocation. An exclusive-use house near the town makes a fine base.
Sutherland
North to the Highlands, by road or by helicopter where weather allows. Royal Dornoch, a Highland estate and a private whisky evening.
Inverness or Edinburgh
A private transfer to your onward flight, or a final drive south through Glen Coe.
A dedicated chauffeur team throughout, in premium vehicles chosen for your party's size and comfort. Where it suits the route and the weather, helicopter or private aviation transfers can link regions.
