North Berwick's West Links is pure fun. Stone walls cross the fairways, a burn winds through the opening holes, and the sea and the Bass Rock are rarely out of view.
The 15th, Redan, gave its name to a style of green that architects have copied around the world. For many visitors, this is the favourite round of the whole trip.
