A wide sandy bay and calm sea under a pale sky on the Aberdeenshire coast

Golf in Aberdeen & The North East

Great dune links, castle country and Royal Deeside, still pleasingly undiscovered by many visitors.

The Bay of Cruden, Aberdeenshire

The North East is where many seasoned visitors go once they have played the famous names. Royal Aberdeen's Balgownie links runs through some of the largest dunes in Scotland, and Cruden Bay is a joyful, eccentric adventure.

Inland, Royal Deeside offers castles, salmon rivers and the edge of the Cairngorms. To the west, the Moray coast leads to Lossiemouth and on into Speyside.
