A green and bunkers on Dunbar’s links beneath a summer sky
Dunbar, Edinburgh & East Lothian

Dunbar Golf Club

A narrow, honest links squeezed between wall and shore.

Dunbar Golf Club, East Lothian

Dunbar runs along a narrow ribbon of land between a stone wall and the sea, with the Barns Ness lighthouse towards the far end. It is honest, traditional links golf, and many of the best holes are right by the water.

It has been used for Open qualifying, yet it keeps a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes it a lovely contrast to East Lothian's grander names.
