Rocky Ness, the 15th at Kingsbarns, Fife
Kingsbarns took farmland on the Fife coast and shaped it into links so convincing that it feels centuries old. The sea is in view from every hole, and several play right along the rocky shore.
It quickly became one of Scotland's favourite modern courses among visiting golfers, and it joins the Old Course and Carnoustie as a venue for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
