Crail Golfing Society: Balcomie

Founded in 1786, one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, on a headland at the tip of Fife.

Crail Golfing Society is among the oldest golf clubs in the world. Its Balcomie links sits on a headland at the very tip of Fife, with the sea in view on almost every hole.

It is short by modern standards, but the wind and the setting make it a joy. A second course, Craighead, offers broader links nearby.
