Golf in Scotland in November
The season winds down: short days, winter rules, and St Andrew's Day at the end of the month.
The Swilcan Bridge and the R&A clubhouse, St Andrews
By November, Scottish golf is in winter mode. The links remain playable, but days are short and many clubs move to winter rules or temporary greens.
It is best suited to a short trip with one or two rounds, perhaps combined with St Andrews itself, whisky, and Scotland's national day on 30 November.
