Plan your golf route
Pick the courses you would love to play. We will suggest the best order, where to stay each night, how long the drives are, and which airports make most sense. Share the link with your group when you are done.
Choose a course or two to begin.
The route, overnight stops and driving times will appear here.
How the planner works
Thinking about when to travel? See golf in Scotland month by month, or read our planning guide.
- How does the planner choose the order?
- It works out the order of courses that keeps total driving lowest between your arrival and departure airports. It then chooses an overnight base near each course, staying put when the next course is within about an hour, so you are not packing every morning.
- How accurate are the driving times?
- They are based on OpenStreetMap road data, with time added for real-world conditions. Summer traffic, single-track roads and stops for coffee all add more, so treat them as a guide. Your chauffeur will plan the actual timings.
- Why does it add travel days?
- When moving between regions takes more than about two and a half hours, it is kinder to give the journey its own day than to squeeze it around a round of golf. Many of these drives, through Perthshire, the Cairngorms or Glen Coe, are highlights in their own right.
- Does this book tee times?
- No. It is a planning aid. No tee times, rooms or availability are checked. When you send us a route, we design a proper itinerary and request tee times on your behalf.
